Oikos Properties is a real estate investment and property management company focused on identifying areas of opportunity in the Greek real estate market, from ground-up developments to value-add real estate projects.

We Invest.
We source, structure and co-invest with our investors on real estate opportunities throughout Greece. Through our strong local network, we are continuously screening opportunities on the ground and leveraging our market knowledge to select projects with the most promising fundamentals. We strongly expect the overall market to continue to recover from the severe downturn that started in 2008 and we want to remain flexible to be able to seize opportunities where they arise to capture alpha.

Not only do we invest, but we also create, design and implement real estate development and redevelopment opportunities. Focusing primarily in Athens, we identify gaps in the market and seek out projects from ground-up developments to historic renovation to adaptive reuse. We strive to develop assets to meet market demand while employing a user-centered approach, functional design and international sustainability standards.

Grigorios Ntarlantanis
Head of Operations
Grigorios oversees all ground operations for Oikos Properties from sourcing to acquisition to property management. He is a Greek entrepreneur with a background in property and hospitality management and tourism development in emerging markets. He has worked across both private and public sectors, his experience spans from building ventures for Rocket Internet to advising on investment needs for tourism development for the IFC (World Bank Group) in the Asian market. Grigoris also founded a hospitality consulting firm and tourism agency in Myanmar, offering a complete suite of services from market research to sales and marketing and hotel development. Grigorios holds a BSc. in Accounting and Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business, a MSc. in International Business from Stockholm School of Economics and a MSc in International Management from CEMS. Grigorios is a licensed Class A Accountant in Greece and has a professional certificate in Sustainable Tourism from the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
Jerome Sterckx
Head of Finance
Jerome is in charge of financial structuring for Oikos Properties. He is a French entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in various financial management positions, supporting both his own ventures and other organizations in financial planning, raising capital and executing on business strategy. Jerome started his career as an equity analyst for UBS in London and has served as CFO of an e-commerce company as well as a social enterprise focused on heritage renovation and property management in Myanmar. He launched a number of brick and mortar businesses in the health and wellness and F&B space, and has overseen design, construction and renovation of both commercial and residential properties. Jerome holds a MSc. in Economics, Accounting and Finance from ESSEC Business School and has passed all three levels of the CFA.
Alec Maurice
Head of Business Development & Strategy
Alec leads investor relations, client services and business development for Oikos Properties. He is a Swiss entrepreneur and investor, with a background in consulting and fintech industries specializing in business strategy, sales and negotiations. Prior to Oikos Properties, Alec built one of the largest professional services firms in Myanmar, advising publicly listed multinational companies on business development strategy and market research in the SE Asia market. Alec also worked with Seedstars, a Swiss-based venture capital fund focused on frontier markets, leading their expansion into the Asian market and launch of their first entrepreneurial hub in Yangon. Alec holds a BSc. from the University of Bath in Economics and International Development and certifications from IMD Business School on decision-making, leadership & negotiations.
